What is a storeperson?

As a store employee, you manage a business store or warehouse. Your task is to monitor and control the flow of products into and out of the warehouse. They inspect goods or raw materials when they arrive to make sure they match the goods ordered and are free of damage.

Before sending the goods to the store or to the customer, you must pack them properly and put the correct labels on them. As you are responsible for the store or storage room, you need to record when the goods arrive and where they are in the building so that you can easily find them.

We are looking for warehouse associates to join our state-of-the art new-build warehouse in Maddington. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with our highly skilled retail team and get involved in building your business. In this day shift position, you will work 38 hours a week.

This role is based in a supportive environment where your enthusiasm and willingness to learn are highly valued. We are open to anyone who wants to promote their business and join a successful and strong company.

Responsibility

  • Collecting, packing, and shipping orders
  • Includes warehouse and warehouse returns
  • Complete inventory and other general sales activities
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles

skills and knowledge 

Although this is a busy job, you must be reliable, committed, and pay close attention to detail. You will work with a variety of products and demonstrate the physical ability to lift heavy products.

  • Information about the new store 
  • Extensive knowledge of health and safety
  • Good communication skills and being a team player
  • Able to comfortably lift 50 pounds and perform manual labor
  • More experience with RF scanners
