What is a US visitor visa?
A visa is a document that allows you to enter a foreign country. This usually includes the date you intend to leave the country.
There are several types of visas: immigrant and non-immigrant.
If you want to travel to the United States for vacation, work, to see a family member, or for other short-term purposes, you need an immigrant visa.
Getting a US visitor visa is easy. You must meet all requirements with complete documents and sufficient funds.
Visa categories of visitors to the United States
There are two main categories of US visitor visas. I am:
Business visa (B1): If you are going to the US to work, the B1 visa is what you need to apply for. For example, you might want to attend a conference or seminar, discuss contracts, or negotiate.
With a B1 business visa, you only have the right to:
- Participate in fairs, conferences, and seminars.
- Negotiation of trade agreements
- Get professional training in no time.
- Discuss with business partners.
- Add values
You can apply for a B1 business visa if you are traveling to the USA for business purposes.
With the B1 Business Visa, you can stay in the USA for 6 months. If your visa expires, you can renew it if you have not closed your business.
Turistvisum (B2): If you are going to the USA on holiday, a B2 visa is what you need to apply for. The visa category is for people traveling for medical reasons. Many people come to America for tourism, which is why the B2 visa is so popular.
With a B2 tourist visa, you have the right to:
- Go to community events.
- Visit family and friends.
- Take a short training course.
- Participate in sports and music competitions for free.
- Get medical treatment.
With a business visa, you can stay in the USA for up to 6 months. However, you will not be able to participate in activities permitted under the business visa.
It is important to apply for the right visa to avoid breaking the applicable rules. You break the rules of flying when you participate in activities that are not permitted under the visa.

The fee is the same for business and tourist visas. You must pay the same fee in your local currency.
Payment of this fee is required for us to process your order. You cannot go to the next level if you have not paid.
And depending on your country and where you ship your order, you may have to pay additional fees.
This may include the cost of collecting the necessary documents and passport photos.
You can pay the costs to arrange appointments to visit the visa application center and the embassy.
If there are additional applications, you must pay before your visa is processed.
It is important to note that any fees you pay for your visa application are non-refundable.

It’s time to wait a bit.
The waiting time for a visa option varies depending on your country and where you submitted your documents.
Factors such as agent availability and the number of options available affect wait times.
You can choose how long to wait on the US State Department website. On the website, select your city from the list and click the Go button.
The homepage shows waiting times for immigrant visas and other types of non-immigrant visas.
However, it is important to note that the wait time you received is an estimate. You can check anytime because the waiting time changes every week.
Grounds for refusal of an immigrant visa
If your visa is approved, you can, fortunately, schedule your flight and enter the United States. However, it is possible to experience rejection, and there are many reasons why this can happen.
Your application will be rejected if you provide false information or false statements during the application process. You will be denied if you have previously violated US immigration laws or have a criminal record.
Your application may also be rejected if you have an infectious disease. Arrests or convictions for drug use or trafficking can have consequences. Finally, if your visa application is incomplete, it will not be accepted by the embassy.
If your visa application is rejected, you cannot appeal the decision. You can apply for a new visa if your circumstances change. For example, if you are refused for medical reasons, you can reapply during your lifetime. You can provide evidence and more information and facts on the next page. In the case of a criminal record or criminal records, reapplying is not relevant.
